A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a buff demi-disc surmounted by a white star, the top point extending above the demi-disc and debruised by a blue chevron superimposed by a red cannon muzzle upwards and surmounted by a gold sunflower; attached below a semi-circular blue motto scroll inscribed "SUSTENTO VICTORIA" in silver.
The national colors are represented by the colors of the device, red, white, and blue. Buff is the color traditionally used by the Support units. The star refers to the new unit comprised of diverse elements that form the command, also embodying the five major elements of logistics maintenance, supply, transportation, facilities, and service. The cannon alludes to the Thirty-Fifth Division Artillery, which reorganized to become the 635th Regional Support Group. The chevron denotes support. Blue implies constancy, devotion, and service in World War II. The sunflower, the state flower of Kansas, symbolizes the unit's home base. The motto translates to "SUPPORTING VICTORY."
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 29 March 2006.
